Hi everybody I have been looking at tickets to Brisbane in Australia from Copenhagen Denmark but they are a bit expensive. I'm 24 and student at DTU in Denmark I would like to travel on the 19th of December 2014 after 1.30 pm due to exam in the morning or on the 20th of December and I need to be back sunday the 4th of january 2015 due to course start at DTU. I have a lot of miles with Emirates and it could therefore be good to travel with them, however i'm flexible and open for other routes. It's just me travelling Hope you have some tips and tricks so I can get a cheap ticket. Thank you. Regards, Nicolai I'm danish
I have checked a number of options, including some tricks, but I do think the EY fare of just over DKK12k is the best deal there is. Outbound Dec 20, return Jan 2. It actually I think it is rather fair, considering that it is absolutely peak season!
I did this many years ago when I had not realized that those dates are the worst of the worst when it comes to peak season. I ended up with a rather unique itinerary on Air Canada: CPH-LHR-YVR-SYD rt. It was NOT cheap, but it was the only place I could actually find a seat! The trip was murder - imagine flying to the West Coast of USA/Canada and saying to yourself: That was one third of the trip... I don't think the west-bound routing makes much sense nowadays, but it might be worth checking?
Difficult on your dates. There is a "cheap" possibility on Qatar Airways flying out of Zagreb. It shouldn't be that expensive to fly CPH-ZAG r/t. Lots of travel, but might be worth it saving a considerable amount of money.
