Hello, I will be soon Diamond with qualification period expiring end of June. Do I get to give away a gold card in the current qualification period as well as in the next one starting in July (as earned Diamond status) or is the giveaway once per calendar year or what is the principle behind it?
And let me answer my question.... This is what stands on SAS website: "If you are upgraded to EuroBonus Gold or Diamond by earning Basic points or qualifying flights, you receive a certain amount of memberships to give away during your current remaining qualification period, the next qualification period and a 3 month grace period. This means that the first time you become a EuroBonus Gold or Diamond member it can take up to two years until you receive new memberships to give away. You receive a new amount of memberships to give away every time your status is renewed. This happens after the 3 month grace period of your previous qualification period has ended."
