SAS Diamond - flight changes on the day, also relevant for Star Alliance flights?

    Hi,

    I am a Diamond member and have a flight on Thursday with Austrian Airlines at 5:40pm - considering to swop to the later one at approx. 9:00pm - is it possible to do that via the new SAS Diamond benefits or do I need to pay for it?

    Have you tried to call SAS or write to the Diamond mail about it?

    - SAS Diamond is purely an SAS status, not a Star Alliance status.
    - When you travel a Star Alliance Flight other than SAS, your SAS Diamond membership is converted into Star Gold.
    - Have a look at your boardingpass : It says >> SK*G << - it does not say EBD.

    It's not possible to change your Austrian Airlines flight free of charge via the new SAS Diamond benefit. Only on SAS flights. As @PENSIONISTEN writes "SAS Diamond is purely an SAS status, not a Star Alliance status".
